(Sept. 15) - Has Alicia Keys turned into a homewrecker?

The 'No One' singer could be named in the divorce suit of Grammy-winning producer Swizz Beatz and his wife Mashonda, The New York Daily News reports.

Mashonda believes that Keys and her estranged husband carried on an affair which lead to the demise of their marriage.

A birthday party Alicia threw for Swizz put his ex over the edge.

"Alicia introduced Swizz as 'The man of the hour and my boo.' Mashonda has had enough. She put her career on hold to be a wife and mother. She's tired of pretending she's deaf, dumb and blind to what's going on. She can't believe how disrespectful Alicia is being," an insider tells the Daily News.

But Swizz is denying that Alicia had anything to do with the split.

"I can no longer ignore the harmful rumors, that my friend Alicia Keys is in any way linked to my marital circumstances or to the decision that [my wife] Mashonda and I have made to separate," he tells Usmagazine.com

"I am disappointed that some have chosen to try and tarnish Alicia's reputation by irresponsibly implicating her in a situation that she has absolutely nothing to do with," he adds.

"This experience has been one of the most difficult times in my life,and as was stated when we announced our separation several months ago, I ask that you continue to respect my privacy in dealing with this personal matter," Beatz finishes.

Mashonda and Swizz were married for 5 years and have a son, 1-year-old Kasseem Dean Jr.

I know for a fact that their marriage was BULLLSHIT from the jump. They were never faithful to eachother. Swizz was miserable for many years and Mashonda saw him as a goldmind.. He always said that it was cheaper to Keep her but I guess enough was enough and he rather pay to be happy. So even if Alicia isnt with him that home was wrecked years ago before the vows were said. And to correct the false info stated above; they have 2 children not one. One son before they got married who probably 7 now and then the recent one he named Jr. Ohhh and another thing Mashonda did not put her career on hold.. He (his lable Fullsurface) spent time and money to bring her album out but it went NO WHERE.. She is meant to be a background singer/perhaps even song writer like where she came from instead of a main entertainer. Plus after her second child she looks horrible. I know she is just trying to do the whole Alicia Keys thing to get more money from the divorce... Thats her type. whatever works I guess.

come to think of it, even if they were married, it's always easy to blame someone outside of the marriage. It takes work and discipline.
