Squatters in Littleton, Colo., Couple's Home Refuse to Vacate Despite Judge's Ruling {AOL Real Estate}

Does anyone reading this really believe that the squatters thought they had a legal right to the house? Like, did they even bother to walk over to the County clerk and check the taxpayer records for the past 18 years? Yeah, right, the squatters "didn't know." If you believe that, I have a great bridge to sell you in Brooklyn, real cheap too......

Dual Agency: How a Real Estate Agent May Be Two-Timing You {AOL Real Estate}

Well, Lrusch, you merely proved my point. I excluded from the moniker of bottom feeding cheats those agents who represent their clients exclusively. You state that you do not do dual agency. Thus, there is no reason for you to take this personally.

Dual Agency: How a Real Estate Agent May Be Two-Timing You {AOL Real Estate}

Remember that in a dual agency situation, no matter WHAT you think, you, the consumer will get screwed. Agents work both sides against the middle, and they will push the hardest where they think there is the most give. So, if you are a seller, and they think you desperately want to sell a house, they will push you far harder than they push their proposed buyers.
Warning, people- brokers are NOT your friend, unless they exclusively represent you. You need to negotiate in a way that is best for you and your situation, and not be moved by your broker. Virtually all of them are bottom feeders, and they will stab you in the back to make their commission.
