Apr 5th 2011 6:56PMI agree. Anyone who falls for the 'It's helping kids" shtick is just proof that the dumbing-down of America has succeeded. The show is unoriginal, poorly-wriiten and perpetuates sterotypes. But hey, pepper it with catchy, familiar pop tunes and who cares? Right?
Apr 5th 2011 6:53PMHas anyone ever been able to have an intelligent conversation with a "Glee" fan? Yeah, me neither.
Apr 5th 2011 6:52PMWell when you limit yourself to the Britney-playing stations, of course you're only going to hear hwa tyou believe to be their only hit. But here's a mind-blower; many artists don't care about having a hit single on the charts. Kings of Leon are an alternative rock band who don't care to have their songs worn out by mindless Top 40 radio stations. Not everybody is in the business for the money. Too bad you're limiting yourself and your musical horizons by suggesting that if someone's song isn't played after a Justin Bieber track that they must not be very good. Shallow much?
