May 26th 2010 11:08AMAs I mentioned in my earlier post, my 14 year old son has a package of Pop Rocks in his room. I looked on the package and there isn't a warning label on the package; therefore, obviously there isn't a hazard to anyone of ANY age. Pop Rocks are candy! No other candy has a warning label either as it is candy as well.
If you will notice the parents with the baby only gave him once piece. They were being careful just in case. The little girl in the second video didn't even have a reaction at all other than once and that just looked like what most kids do when they taste something sour.
I DON'T agree with the people who gave the dog the candy. No dog should be given any sort of candy. It has been proven that candy is dangerous for animals and that was completely irresponsible. That poor dog looked terrified.
As far as the parenting, this was not abuse! It was just parents giving their kids some extra sugar. If anything else, they were abusing themselves by keeping their kids up longer and they weren't going to get as much sleep that night!
May 26th 2010 10:27AMC'mon people! This is silly! This is candy and it's not going to hurt them! Did you see them crying at all? No! My 14 year old son has a package of Pop Rocks in his room right now. I just looked at it and NO WHERE on it does it say that it should not be given to no one under a certain age (just as EVERY other candy)! Get a grip people!
Apr 14th 2010 12:28PMMy father-in-law was diagnosed with alzheimers at 59 and passed away at 64. It progresses so quickly.
As far as vitamin deficincies, I somewhat agree. I have a seizure disorder which causes memory loss and confusion, etc. However, I also have a severe Vitamin B-12 deficincy which isn't what you would thing makes me have no energy. If you research that it makes you have bad memory, confusion, etc., as well. Vitamin deficiencies can cause so many problems....
