'White Only' Pool Sign 'Decorative,' Landlord Claims {AOL Real Estate}

Dec 19th 2011 11:36PM

Maybe everyone who lives at that complex should invite one friend over to swim, and then everyone lather up with all kinds of lotions and sunscreens, put a bunch of hair goop in, and wear swim suits that haven't been rinsed clean of all the detergent.... and all dive in at once. Then let's see how cloudy the pool becomes. I mean just to prove a point. Yeah, yeah, I realize this amounts to cuttin' off your nose to spite your face, and all that. But sometimes it's worth such nonsense to just make a point.

This landlord is a nutbar, full on. I'd move out even if the rhetoric wasn't aimed at me. Who wants to live around the likes of this person?

Easter Eggs? Call Them 'Spring Spheres,' Seattle Teacher Reportedly Instructs Teen Volunteer {ParentDish}

Thaaaaaaank Youuuuuuu!!!!!

Well said, and the part about learning others' cultures, right on. If we did, maybe there'd be less violence as a way of solving problems. What we need is more information not more xenophobia.

Well, for one thing, an egg shape is NOT a sphere! The Planet Earth is a sphere; not a perfectly round ball, but most definitely not pointy on either "end". I think it's more a flattened ball, sort of bigger at the equator than the other direction, from pole to pole, like.

More important, the EASTER BUNNY is not a religious figure; not mentioned in the Bible, or any other religious book used by any organized religion. But yes, kids know the deal, and there's not a Jewish American, Sikh Amerian, Muslim American child who doesn't know "Easter Egg" means CANDY!!!
