Is Playboy selling itself? Company reportedly in talks with Iconix {Daily Finance}

Nov 13th 2009 9:31AM

I stopped "reading" (wink - wink!) Playboy over ten years ago, and the reason WAS the photos of Hef with his great-granddaughters in the magazine. I thought he was FLAUNTING it!!! Yeah, they were over 18 (barely!), but it still looked like child pornography to me! Hey, Hef? If you want a date, call Barbara Eden, she's closer to YOUR age, and she has her OWN money!!

Cheryl Hines Defends Jesus Joke in 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' {Inside TV Blog}

Nov 2nd 2009 6:18AM

Hhhhhhmmmmmm??? Who EVER told this daft woman (Cherl Hines) that the world is "free?" Tell THAT to those two female journalists who were "detained" by the North Korean government, earlier this year! They were "liberated" ONLY when former President Bill Clinton flew halfway around the world to orchestrate their release! Once you leave the "good ole" United States of America, behind, you kiss goodbye your constitutional rights. This "Curb Your Enthusiasm" brouhaha is part and parcel of a much-accepted HollyWeird conviction that EVERYTHING is "fair game," regardless of other peoples's feelings and sensitivities. Larry David? Just another FAR LEFT loon, who has PLENTY of company out there on the FAR LEFT COAST! Maybe he should re-title his show, "Curb Your Blasphemy."

Casting a New 'Oz' on the Anniversary {PopEater}

Of ALL the polls I've EVER taken on The Internet, THIS was by FAR the most ABSURD!!! As a matter of fact, I didn't even participate in this FOLLY!!! All I can say is that it must be nice to have the time to WASTE, on such a project!!! "The Wizard of Oz" is perhaps the most beloved American movie of ALL TIME! I consider it a sin to even contemplate remaking it!!! Anne Hathaway as Dorothy??? SHE'S TOO DAMNED OLD!!! Even Judy Garland was too old for the part! In the book, Dorothy was MUCH younger!
