Sep 15th 2011 4:55AMHere is another thought .. INCREASE Duty, Abolish Road Tax and make Insurance companies issue a Credit Card type of proof of Insurance that has to be shown in order to purchase fuel.. Then ALL Road users would be paying not just the Honest ones.
Aug 17th 2011 11:11AMI have shopped at them all HOPING for a Bargain and I have concluded that you get EXACTLY what you pay for .. Cheap shops = cheap goods.. Cheap Toilet Rolls from Aldi are almost unuseable unless you double them up and use twice as much so where is the saving ? Meat is Terrible from all the cheapest outlets and cheap Mince is nearly all Fat so where is the saving ? Not worth the hassle of shopping around if half of what you buy is not up to standard.
Aug 11th 2011 7:58AMThe dramatic rise in the cost of fuel needed for shipping low cost bulky items is the reason that these items have increased out of proportion to high value smaller items.. It costs more pro rata to ship a lorry load of Toilet rolls than a match box full of Diamonds hence the price increases.. NO I dont work in a Supermarket or in Transport apart from the fact that I try to put my Brain in Gear before shouting too loudly.
