Jan 8th 2011 11:54PMOh come on ladies, lighten up. Don's comment was funny as heck.
Jan 8th 2011 11:49PMBeen there. I got a reduction, I was even on medicaid at the time and they paid for it!! Most insurance companies will pay for reduction surgery if your plastic surgeon says that it is for health conditions. And being overly in the breast is a health condition, as it causes back and neck pain, slouching, I've even had yeast infections under my breasts in the summer---but no more. I think I'm wearing the right size bra, but I'm going to go to VS as soon as I can to be fitted and maybe buy some new ones.
Dec 24th 2010 9:33PMChristmas, despite popular belief by most Christians is not religiously rooted in the Christian faith. Everything from the Christmas tree to the giving of presents to the partying was firmly rooted in the traditions of Germanic tribes for their harvest festivals celebrated around this time of year. These celebrations were hijacked by the Roman Catholic Church as a way to convert the Germanic tribes and the tribes were told it was a celebration of Jesus' birth, even though most scholars-both religious and secular-will place the time of year of Jesus' birth in the fall (based on the sheep being out to pasture).
I'm in my 40's and I have yet to figure out what part of the Christmas festivities are "religiously rooted".
