Apr 12th 2010 7:09AMShe does know a lot about nutrition and fitness and she has the credits to back her up. I am using her 30-Day Shred (and this is NOT spam. I really use and love her program) and it has worked exceptionally well for me. I rented it first and loved it so much, I went out and bought it later that day. It is fast and packs a huge punch, and you get results.
But I stopped watching The Biggest Loser because they are now turning it into a freak show, putting on bigger and bigger people. Not only do you have to worry that the exercise and challenges might be too much for them (Jillian herself has complained about this), but the end results are not as satisfying to see when the finale comes around. It IS show business, and it IS TV entertainment, for good or bad, and when a viewer invests weeks in watching the show, you want to see real transformations, not just good before & afters. JMO.

Elsewhere, Sarah Palin campaigned for John McCain today in a bid to shore up his support among morons.
LOL, wilmd! I don't know you, but I like you! Did you catch her speech? Her screechy, obnoxious voice, her stupidity . . . and then the cheers? And there was McCain, looking very out of it. Look what he has foisted on this country!
Mar 27th 2010 3:12AMwllmd, well-written! I just love how John Boehner (whom I refer to as "Boner") keeps spouting off about what this is going to do to the country when he and his merry band of henchmen spent eight years ruining it. No doubt, there was some help from Democrats in Congress during the Bush years who contributed to our current mess . . . but what is happening now is beyond comprehension. John McCain (whom I refer to as "Turtlehead" . . . seriously, does the man not resemble a turtle?) made a big, boisterous, bellicose announcement that there will be no bi-partisanship from now to the November elections. Big deal. Like there has been any at all since Obama took office. What the GOP cannot stomach is seeing an intelligent man in the White House who clearly, once he gets his motor running, knows how to get things done. They DON'T want progress. And the narrow-minded idiots out there who are sending death threats, throwing bricks, shooting off guns, and spitting on black Congressional members while using the "n" word are not being reined in by the likes of Boner and Cantor. Honestly? I hope the Republicans just keep on keeping on. They are destroying the party. I hope from the ashes rises a Republican party, eventually, that will actually have good ideas and contribute to a national dialogue and offer a good reason to want to work with them. Right now? Forget about it.
