The New York City Medical Examiner has determined the cause of death for Adam Goldstein, known to most by his stage name DJ AM, is "acute intoxication," TMZ reports. The examiner revealed his death was due to the combined effects of cocaine, oxycodone, hydrocodone (Vicodin), Ativan, Klonopin, Xanax, Benadryl and Levamisole (a drug used to cut cocaine with).Famous Friends Gather for DJ AM Funeral
The traditional service was held at Hillside Memorial Park in Los Angeles. Those on hand to mourn the celebrity disc jockey, who died last Friday, were his former collaborator Travis Barker and Hayley Wood, the woman he was said to have been heartbroken over.

DJ AM swallowed a handful of OxyContin pills and had another still in his mouth when he was found dead in his apartment on Aug. 28, a law enforcement source has alleged to PEOPLE.According to the report, DJ AM -- real name Adam Goldstein -- had eight undigested OxyContin pills in his stomach, which suggests he downed them in quick succession. The source believes Goldstein "was going unconscious when he took the last one. He didn't even swallow it," adding to the theory that the celebrity deejay committed suicide.
Blink-182 Nixes More Gigs to 'Mourn the Loss' of DJ AM
Still reeling from the death of a close friend, pop-punk titans Blink-182 have decided to postpone even more tour dates in order to grieve DJ AM, who was found dead in his New York apartment on Friday.
The band's drummer Travis Barker and DJ AM were the only survivors of a plane crash last September that left them both badly injured and four people dead. They had been collaborating as a DJ and drum act.
"After much thought and consideration, Blink-182 has rescheduled their next two shows in order for Travis Barker to mourn the loss of his dear friend Adam Goldstein," a statement on the group's Web site read.

Addiction specialist Dr. Drew Pinsky said Saturday that pain medications likely led disc jockey DJ AM, a former drug addict who died suddenly Friday, away from his sober path. "It very slowly and subtly reawakens addiction," Pinsky said of pain medication in an interview Saturday. Blink-182 rocker Travis Barker is grieving the death of his close friend and music collaborator Adam Goldstein - known in the industry as DJ AM - and expressed his pain online and in concert on Saturday. The rock drummer and Goldstein escaped a plane crash together in 2008, and Barker wrote to his fellow survivor on Twitter, "Rest In Peace my brother, this really f---s me up. I'll never forget everything we've been thru and every time i play the drums i'll think of you. U were an amazing friend/DJ/human being."
A Breakup and Lingering Pain Over Crash in DJ AM's Final Days
A recent breakup with his girlfriend only added to DJ AM's rough year following the tragic plane crash he survived in September. Sources tell TMZ he was "completely devastated" by the split with Hayley Wood, and a PEOPLE source admitted the DJ "hadn't been in a good place lately."According to reports, Wood ended the relationship within the last week and that since then, "he was keeping to himself, and he was blowing people off."
TMZ sources say he was having a very hard time dealing with post-traumatic stress from the plane crash he barely survived in September of last year. Four people died.
DJ AM Found Dead in New York
Adam Goldstein, known to most by his stage name DJ AM, was found dead in his apartment on Friday in New York City. He was 36. According to TMZ, which first reported the story, drug paraphernalia including a glass crack pipe was found at the scene and Goldstein hadn't been seen or heard from in several days.
