Last week, PopEater teamed up with NiceOne! to see how celebrities sized up this year by letting our readers vote on various Thanksgiving polls -- and apparently they've all had enough of Kanye West, naming him 2009's Biggest Turkey. With 42% of the total votes, he beat out the likes of Spencer Pratt and Jon Gosselin. We're pretty sure our readers still haven't forgiven him for stealing the mic during Taylor Swift's VMAs acceptance speech. See which celebrities topped this year's official PopEater polls. >>

A city by any other name certainly isn't as sweet. Just ask Bruce Springsteen. Last week (on Friday the 13th, fittingly enough) The Boss mistakenly name-checked Ohio during an Auburn Hills, Michigan concert. The 60-year-old rocker referred to the Buckeye State several times during the show's first 30 minutes before guitarist Steve Van Zandt whispered the correct locale in his ear.

A sheepish Springsteen said the mistake was "every front man's nightmare." And as it turns out, a common one among rockers and pop stars. Here are a few other confused artists who probably should have taped the city's name to the back of their guitar.

With a whirlwind touring schedule in support of her latest album "Circus," it's hard to blame the pop tart for shouting out the wrong city's name onstage once. But twice? In April, Britney Spears thanked San Jose instead of its California cousin Sacramento. And oops!... she did it again two months later, though on the other side of the pond, exclaiming "What's up, London?" to fans in Manchester's packed MEN Arena.

Taylor Swift, host of this week's 'Saturday Night Live,' didn't spend much time addressing Kanye West's stage storming incident. She made brief mention in an opening song that included all the topics she doesn't want to talk about: her break-up with Joe Jonas and "that werewolf from 'Twilight'", Taylor Lautner. Taylor Swift is the host and musical guest this weekend on 'Saturday Night Live,' and promos for the show are already taking shots at Kanye West -- who interrupted the country cutie's MTV VMA win.

"Hey, I'm Taylor Swift and I'll be the host and musical guest this week on 'SNL,'" Swift explains.

"Whoop, Kanye West just called, he thinks Beyonce should host," Bill Hader quips. "Funny joke, right? VMAs!" Watch After the Jump

Spike Jonze seems to have played out the fantasy of many people post-VMAs, as the acclaimed director gives Kanye West a big old slap across the face in an outtake from the duo's 'Once Upon a Fairy Tale' video that emerged earlier this month. 'RIP Kanye West' is still the top trending topic on the micro-blogging site Twitter hours after someone made up an unscrupulous rumor that Kanye West died in a car crash. The Kanye West Dead hoax was also the top Google search in the USA in the early hours of this morning. West's girlfriend Amber Rose put rumors to rest saying the rapper is alive and well, writing on Twitter: "This 'RIP KanyeWest' topic is not funny and its NOT TRUE! He has people like myself and his family that love him very much."

When Kanye West first started showing up at events earlier this year with Amber Rose (including the now-infamous VMAs), the gossip world was aflutter: Who was this statuesque woman with the blonde shaved 'do, the impossibly perfect body and a fashion sense that outmatched her beau? It seemed that the ultra-narcissistic, highly stylish rapper had met his match, futuristic shades for futuristic shades. But who is she? PopEater takes a look behind the baldie bad girl.

Taylor Swift is set to host 'Saturday Night Live' next month, and it's almost guaranteed her infamous run-in with Kanye West will be spoofed at some point. "There are definitely some hilarious things that have happened to me over the past couple of months that I think will be pretty substantial skits," says Swift.

Rapper T.I. didn't need to attend the BET Hip-Hop Awards to win two trophies on Saturday. The rapper, who is locked up in an Arkansas penitentiary on a federal weapons conviction, won the best collaboration award with Rhianna for the song 'Live Your Life' and the album of the year award for 'Paper Trail.' His fiancee Tameka "Tiny" Cottle accepted his awards at the ceremony.

Beyonce Knowles is finally speaking out about her loss to Taylor Swift at the VMAs, which prompted Kanye West to storm the stage and steal the young singer's moment after winning Best Female Video. "Well, I knew his intentions, and I knew he was standing up for art; and he told me before, when they said the nominees, he's like, 'You have this award,'" Knowles told O: The Oprah Magazine editor-at-large Gayle King (via MTV.)

For Lady Gaga, the show must go on ... without Kanye West. The singer will embark on her own tour, possibly beginning in November.

The death of their "Fame Kills" tour last week was a "mutual decision," Gaga said over the weekend. "Kanye's going to take some time off. But the good news is that I'm going on tour in a few weeks."

Kanye West won't get to show us his 'Poker Face.'

West's North American tour with Lady Gaga has been canceled, the concert promoter Live Nation confirmed, EOnline.com reports.

Although reps for West and Gaga have not commented, sources believe the 'Paparazzi' singer wanted out after West's actions at the VMAs, even though she showed support for her now ex-tourmate just a few days ago.

So far, September's been full of contentious celebrity battles. Between Ellen DeGeneres replacing Paula Abdul on 'American Idol', Kanye West's interruption of Taylor Swift and the start of brand new fall television shows, there's plenty to Google about. While interest in Swift immediately skyrocketed after the VMAs, so did interest in West. Looks like his interruption of her acceptance speech was good for both of them, although Swift's solid subway performance and ability to exhibit grace under pressure may have had something to do with it, too.
