When we sat down for a Thanksgiving feast next to 13-year-old Amanda G. from New Jersey, we turned to her immediately to ask her what she thought of 'Twilight: New Moon' fever sweeping her peers. What Amanda told us shocked us to the core.

"It's ridiculous," laughed Amanda about 'Twilight.' "Everyone sees it, reads it, It's worse than Harry Potter."

Amanda wasn't amused by the aftermath of this obsession. "Unfortunately, they also always talk about it. Everything is 'Oh my God, Robert Pattinson is SO hot. Kiss kiss kiss.'" Amanda looked sad as she realized "that's my day, Robert Pattinson this and that."

By now, everyone knows that 'Twilight' star Taylor Lautner beefed up big time for 'New Moon.' What they may not really know is exactly how he feels about his character and the series ... until now. Lautner opens up to Rolling Stone magazine about his Jacob character and how he deals with being the wedge between the romance of Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Edward (Robert Pattinson). With 'New Moon' pulling in unbelievable numbers in its first day, and fans camping out for half a week to get a ticket, it's pretty clear that there is no stopping this vampire juggernaut. The third chapter in the 'Twilight' series, 'Eclipse' is in post-production, and already, its stars are getting recognized on the street. Popeater got a chance to chat with Kirsten Prout, who plays Lucy, one of the vamps who turned Jasper (Jackson Rathbone) back in 1863. Prout gave us a few details (she's going to be in period clothing) and told us that her role is going to be a little different than it is in the novel. She also weighed in on the Vatican's condemnation of the series, the trash talk from Miley Cyrus and the amazing amount of attention paid to the Kristin Stewart/Robert Pattinson romance rumors.

'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' opens on Friday. Why is Kristen Stewart so melancholy in pictures? She has a guaranteed hit movie coming out next week, is supposedly dating hottie Robert Pattinson and tween girls (and their moms) around the country want to be her. Because Kristen has been splashed on the cover of every major magazine in the past few months we have become nonplussed by the fact that Ms. Stewart rarely smiles. In fact, she always has quite the puss on her face.

Something has happened to Kristen Stewart on her trip around Europe to hype 'New Moon.' The grungy gurrrl look (jeans, punk rock shirts, more jeans) is gone and has been replaced by a skin-showing and daring fashionista. From Paris to London to Madrid, the actress is breaking out a new designer look. Last night, she took a chance, and we're not quite sure how to feel about it.

At a 'Moon' fans event in Madrid on Thursday, Stewart donned a layered top and skirt, showing a bit of front-and-side cleavage and what appears to be her underwear through the sheer panels. Check It Out:

There might be a serious split in Team Jacob's camp about which look is sexier -- long hair or short hair. But the 'Twilight Saga: New Moon' star Taylor Lautner says he preferred playing his character Jacob Black with the clean cut look. "It was so weird to see that long hair on me," Lautner said at the 'New Moon' press day, pointing to the very, very obvious fact that the long hair is a wig. "It was very itchy, hot, and annoying. It not only was uncomfortable," he adds, "But when I looked at myself in the mirror I wouldn't be able to recognize myself." Not only that, the long, black hair was messing with his Bella mojo.

Paris oozes with romance, and the city seems to have rubbed off on Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, who for the first time have been photographed engaging in a lil' bit of PDA. The 'New Moon' cast-mates were spotted holding hands Tuesday night as they boarded a plane at Le Bourget airport.

Taylor Lautner fans will see a whole lot of Taylor when 'New Moon' hits theaters. Even the newly bulked-up star has to laugh at one (of many) shirtless scene where he whips off his shirt to tend to a Kristen Stewart head-wound.

"I start laughing so hard every time I see that scene," Lautner related at the 'New Moon' press day. "'Oh you're bleeding? Okay let me fix it.' It's so embarrassing."
