The Los Angeles Lakers are starting a new season and the $33 million man everyone has their eye on is Lamar Odom. Of course basketball fans apparently care about what Lamar actually does on the court, but the rest of America is paying much more attention to his personal life with new bride Khloe Kardashian. People may doubt the wisdom of getting hitched after a month-long courtship, but newlyweds Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom are putting the stamp of approval on their chance of success - literally. Over the weekend, Kardashian and Odom took an unplanned trip to a Los Angeles tattoo parlor to make a romantic gesture in permanent ink. "I just knew I wanted a tattoo for Lamar in the web of my hand, and then once we got to the shop, we decided on getting each other's initials," Kardashian confessed on her blog. "I got "LO" in cursive on my right hand and he got "KO" on both hands."

Lamar: My Marriage to Khloe Is 'Real'

Although reports suggest that Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian are not legally married, the Los Angeles Laker is trying to set the record straight.
"It's crazy how perception works in America when you're looking at things from the outside," he said at the Lakers media day, PEOPLE reports.
"Anybody that was there will tell you that it was a beautiful event and it was real," he added.

After a whirlwind romance (and only knowing each other for a month), reality starlet Khloe Kardashian and L.A. Laker Lamar Odom married on Sunday afternoon, in front of friends and family, OK Magazine confirms.
The couple tied the knot at the house of music mogul Irving Azoff in a ceremony that included the release of hundreds of balloons into the sky.
