By now, everyone knows that 'Twilight' star Taylor Lautner beefed up big time for 'New Moon.' What they may not really know is exactly how he feels about his character and the series ... until now. With 'New Moon' pulling in unbelievable numbers in its first day, and fans camping out for half a week to get a ticket, it's pretty clear that there is no stopping this vampire juggernaut. The third chapter in the 'Twilight' series, 'Eclipse' is in post-production, and already, its stars are getting recognized on the street. Popeater got a chance to chat with Kirsten Prout, who plays Lucy, one of the vamps who turned Jasper (Jackson Rathbone) back in 1863. Prout gave us a few details (she's going to be in period clothing) and told us that her role is going to be a little different than it is in the novel. She also weighed in on the Vatican's condemnation of the series, the trash talk from Miley Cyrus and the amazing amount of attention paid to the Kristin Stewart/Robert Pattinson romance rumors.

'New Moon' fever exploded over the weekend, as the second installment of the 'Twilight' saga opened up with $140.7 million in its first three days and pulled in a total of $258.8 million worldwide, according to studio estimates.

'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' kicked things off with the biggest Friday opening of all time with a whopping $72.7 million Friday, beating previous record holder 'The Dark Knight' which opened in 2008 with $67.2 million on nearly 800 more screens.

'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' patriarch Peter Facinelli stopped by the PopEater offices to talk about his experiences with the film and much more.

Peter tells us about the premiere what he's looking forward to about 'Eclipse,' working with three different directors, the scrutiny that his co-stars are constantly under, his Twitter life and what he knows about 'Breaking Dawn.'

As bloodlust for the follow-up to 2008's wildly successful vampire romance 'Twilight' reaches a fever pitch, it's nearly impossible to turn on the TV or pass the newsstand without seeing stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart staring back. These star-crossed lovers (and real-life are-they-or-aren't-they couple) have a knack for working fans into a frenzy while dropping some seriously juicy soundbites along the publicity trail. In honor of 'New Moon''s hotly anticipated release, we've rounded up the pair's 10 most memorable quotes.

During his appearance on 'Ellen,' which airs today, Robert Pattinson describes one overzealous fan who actually took her clothes off for him.

After signing hundreds of autographs, 'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' star explains he got a little bored. "You kind of get 10 seconds with each person and you never really say anything and I kind of got bored of saying, 'Hey, how are you doing?'" he tells Ellen DeGeneres, PEOPLE reports.

"[A fan] said in her 10 seconds, 'What can I do to get your attention?' I was like um, just take your clothes off." So she did.

'Twilight' fans sure do love their favorite character's chief characteristics, and right up their with Edward's sparkling skin, you must surely add Charlie Swan's fine mustache. The 'stache has a life of it's own on the internet (with an appreciative Facebook page for starters), and there were a number of signs paying homage to the glorious growth at 'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' premiere on Monday night. "It was a choice I made early on," a freshly-shaven Billy Burke told PopEater about the 'stache's prominent role in the film. "Now I'm stuck with it. I gotta grow it every time."

Ashley Greene turned heads at the 'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' premiere, but at what cost did her stunning promotional tour looks come? For starters, Greene did a marathon fitting for her lengthy press tour to account for some 40 knock-out items.

"It took 8 1/2 hours," she admits to PopEater. Even so, she still had her stylist scrambling for a dress the night before the big premiere. "At my house, I decided I didn't like [my dress] anymore," Greene said on Monday evening at the premiere. "Today they had to entirely tailor this dress."

Count Miley Cyrus out of the midnight showings of 'The Twilight Saga: New Moon,' because the 16-year-old superstar doesn't like the series.

"I've never seen it and nor will I ever," Cyrus told a Cleveland radio station backstage at her concert, MTV News reports. "I don't believe in it. I don't like vampires."

Count Twilight scribe Stephenie Meyer as someone who has been caught up in Robert Pattinson fever. "He smells great," laughs Meyer after Oprah Winfrey asked her about Pattinson. "He's not at all like the Edward character."
