well yea, why shouldn't everyone want to kiss Heath Ledger's brokeback ass! i mean after all he was a no good, over rated, overdosed drugie who kicked the bucket in an alien looking olsen twins bed. who else would people want as a roll model for their kids?

Isn't it an adaptation of "Taming of the Shrew"? Hollywood's not imaginative anyway, so why not steal from a 400 year-old story?

Paul Newman started a company that donated multi millions of dollars to charity and he also started camps for kids with terminal Illnesses. YES, Paul Newman was special, but he didn't flaunt it. Maybe if he had lived longer Heath Ledger may have gotten his life together enough and done something spectacular also.... but I"m sure his family felt he was wonderful.

A lot of people die. What is so special about remaking something he did almost ten years ago. Its great to be remembered after you are gone, especially this long...seriously. Don't hear anymore about Paul Newman. Anyway, don't think he was that special. What's the big deal?????

There isn't anything good on television as it is. Why not give this show a try? Give the teens something to watch instead of wasting all their time on MySpace.

I see nothing wrong with making 10 Things I Hate About You into a TV show I liked the movie I thought it was a pretty good movie. If they make into a TV show I will no doubt watch the plot of the show.

I don't get how this is in bad taste? I mean, it's just a tv version of a movie that happened to star someone that is now dead. Why would you think they'd be using Ledger to get an audience? It's not like he'll be in it. Just like any other movie to tv show--the stars are never in the tv show. It's a completely different thing once it goes to tv. Anyway, I don't see what the big deal is. It'll probably be like Clueless or something fun for the teens to watch. No biggie.
