Comic Begs Clay Aiken for Forgiveness

I think Kathy Griffen IS funny, but I never enjoyed the joks she made at Clay Aiken's expense. Was she seriously trying to be forgiven? When the distinction is lost between ridicule and wit, feelings will be hurt, even hers (though I doubt she is truly seeking reconcilation).

I love Kathy Griffin but I always found it strange that she would make fun of Clay's sexuality when she obviously has a lot of gay friends and a big gay fan base. I don't blame Clay for not being friendly to her. I also think it is funny that Kathy expects everyone to accept her comments as a joke but she was crying when Jay Leno made jokes about her looks.

AOL, those guys over there who make decisions which news to post on the internet, be careful with your choices. Most of the time you are making mountains out of molehills. On you is conferred a tremendous responsibility - exercise that responsibility wisely. The public doesn't need to know what Lindsay Lohan looks like picking her nose, or this conflict between Kathy Griffin and Clay Aiken, etc. Don't be a gossipmonger

Clay Aiken's sexuality is a very personal and private matter... Kathy Griffin had no right going there. Yeah, Don Rickles was insulting and it was thought to be funny, but did he go to places like this?? I don't think so.So Clay is gay, big deal and if he chose not to say it out there, that's his right. It's not up to her to bring it to the public's attention... How pompous of her to say HE wasn't very nice... what an idiot she is

Gee, when Don Rickles made fun of people back in the day, everyone thought he was brilliant.... but now Kathy Griffin makes fun and she's labeled a bi*ch... what's up with that????
