The only other ways I can think of a person getting this condition is from either getting stabbed in the lung from the outside of the chest or broken ribs puncturing it. In either case, they would be out of commission for weeks. The other option would be she was on a commercial flight when a rapid decompression occured and she held her breath, sneezed or coughed right when it happened. I think if that were the case, we would have heard about that******************************************************you can have a spontanous pnuemothorax without any warning or know cause....I did ...went to ER fter lower rib pain for a couple of days thought I was having kidney stone cuz it hurt in back.....my lower lobe had collapsed...luckily I was asleep in surgery when they put my chest tube in....hae know folk that had to have emergency tube while awake and went though ex...

She's a very pretty and talented lady. I was surprised to recently learn she's the daughter of Jane Mansfield. Wishing her much luck and a speedy recovery.

Actually, there is something called a, "spontaneous pneumothorax" which occurs in people without any provocation. It can happen after or during a relatively minor illness and does also occur (according to our doctor) in people who are thin and with light muscle mass. My son had it happen to both lungs.

She visited my kid's school last spring, she was really very nice and seemed like a very real, sweet person. I hope she feels better soon.

Until her tragic highway death in the Mississippi River fog south of Memphis, she was possibly the highest earning celebrity. At 3 a.m., no makeup in "comfortable clothing" at Zoltan's hospital bedside, she was beautiful.
