(Dec. 10) - With her off-screen best friend leaving the show and her on-screen love affair with a dead guy (which is due to a brain aneurysm-like ailment), how much time does Katherine Heigl have left on 'Grey's Anatomy'?

The actress is a bonafide box office star, with 'Knocked Up' and '27 Dresses' under her belt. She also is one of the highest paid actresses in Hollywood, commanding $6 million a film.

Heigl also angered the 'Anatomy' writers when she dramatically announced her decision to pull out of the race for the 2008 Emmys, despite being a winner in 2007, due to a lack of storyline on 'Grey's.'

Furthermore, since T.R. Knight -- her BFF and man of honor at her wedding -- reportedly asked to leave the series, what more does Katherine have keeping her on set?

Now that we know that Izzy will turn out to be sick on the show, will she go into the light with her deceased fiance Denny, allowing Heigl to pursue other projects? We think so.

I LOVE GRAY'S ANATOMY SHOW VERY MUCH, BUT WHAT IT TURNED ME OFF WAS CATHERINE MAKING LOVE WITH THE GHOST BOYFRIEND, I THOUGHT IT WAS VERY RIDICULOUS, AND ALSO THE LESBIANS DOCTORS REALLY DISGUSTED ME A LOT. IT IS TERRIBLE THAT THEY PUT THOSE DIRTY PEOPLE IN SUCH A NICE SHOW. THAT IS PROBABLE WHY THE SHOW IS DECLINING A LITTLE.

I think this show is in "mid-jump" ... as in jumping the shark. It's done. The story lines suck, and the actors are leaving.

Good riddance. Get rid of Yang, Bailey, and that incompetent Chief. And take that ridiculous Ghost Boyfriend with you too. Stupid storylines abounded this year, from inventing the word "Vajayjay" to lesbian doctors asking how to eat *****. Bring back Washington, while you're at it.

She's going to be another Julianna Margulies. When she leaves, she'll do some crappy movies, and her carreer will then tank for good. With the way she bad mouthed the "Knocked-Up" movie, her career ending so quickly will be a good thing (If you thought it was a "sexist" movie, then maybe you shouldn't have done it; you frigging tool!). And what is the deal with the dopey cigarette smoking? Some example your setting for the kids.

The story line has gotten worse the past year and lately has been very very bad. If T.R. and Katherine leave the show, I for one will not be watching. Katherine is the only reason I still watch. I never did like Dr. Gray (whatever her real name is). And the lesbian thing going on with the other 2 doctors is not to my liking. Why does every show have to have a gay person / relationship on it.
