(Oct. 10) - This week's "South Park" episode opened up a vicious attack on George Lucas and Steven Spielberg for allegedly "raping Indiana Jones" when they brought the beloved archaeologist back to the silver screen this summer in "Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull."
It's a move that could lead to further tension between Paramount and its parent company Viacom, which also produces the Comedy Central hit.
Tamest Scene: 'Why Aliens?'
Nikki Finke at Deadline Hollywood Daily reports that top execs at the studio were not made aware of the episode, which dreamed up recreated rape scenes from "Deliverance" and "The Accused" but with Lucas and Spielberg as the aggressors and Indiana Jones as the victim. Paramount is reportedly eyeing talks with its parent company over the matter.
Viacom is used to hearing complaints from Paramount about "South Park," like in 2005 when an episode targeting Scientology drew the ire of Tom Cruise, who was ramping up promotion of "Mission:Impossible III" at the time. The actor reportedly threatened to cease promoting the movie if Comedy Central continued airing the show, titled "Trapped in the Closet." The network allowed a repeat to air, but then pulled it from the rotation.
"South Park" is largely voiced by its creators, Matt Stone and Trey Parker.
A fifth "Indiana" is in the development stage.

I think all people and corporates should stop whinning about Southpark. The do not discriminate since they pick on absolutely everyone and everything! Sorry about your luck it's your turn this week, and next week it will be someone else's turn, so shut your trap and get over it! It's all just for laughs!

Rickie0313 Someday, maybe not today, or 5 years from now, but someday, I hope Viacom& Comedy Central will eventually get what's been coming to those paper-cutoutsfor a long, long time, to be torn to shreds in the form of a TV cancellation!>Yeah! How dare we be forced to watch intelligent, biting satire! How dare they not give us the same, politically correct crap everyone else does!

I thought that episode was funny and I agree with the creators of South Park. That movie was horrible and they only borught it back to make money since a lot of older movie fans have given up on these new movies & remakes. If this is what they had to offer then they should've left the Indie series alone. If Paramount makes a big uproar over this then they better be prepared for all the fans of the series who felt that Crystal Skulls sucked.

South Park to the small minded is simply a rude cartoon. BUT - to those with some depth to their social and political conscience we see not only GREAT comedy writting - but TRUE takes on the ridiculousness that has taken over our country and no one has the balls to speak of. Quite frankly, South Park is more a true representation of how a lot of people think - only we would never hear so because as demonstrated above evryone is owned by someone and HOW DARE their character come under question. They dictate what moral w should follow. South Park may be shocking - but at this stage in our society - we need a good shock to WAKE THE F$&K UP and realize the crap we get spoon fed on a daily basis. I support South Park and their writer...and BTW: Indiana Jones got sold out on this and the next film. Anyone remember Jaws4? no. What about Rocky 5? Didnt think so....let Indy 5 go right to video.
