(Dec. 4) - At least one person missed the memo about Britney Spears' birthday party: Jeremy Piven. The 'Entourage' star admits his presence at Tenjune night club had nothing to do with the pop princess' birthday. "I was confused... I think I was the one guy who didn't know," Piven told Usmagazine.com. Oops!

Piven originally went into the club "to say hello to someone" when he noticed the circus-themed interior. He had no idea what was going on.

"I'm really embarrassed," Piven said about the confusion.

Even though he finally figured out what was going on, he didn't get close enough to congratulate Spears. "I did not speak to the birthday girl... I fortunately have nothing to report," he said.
