(Oct. 7) - David Letterman and Sen. John McCain will get a chance to make up.
The Republican presidential candidate is scheduled to appear on Letterman's "Late Show" on Thursday.
It will be McCain's 13th visit to the CBS program but his first since he angered Letterman by canceling last month.

Letterman was unhappy when McCain sat for an interview with Katie Couric instead of him on Sept. 24.
At the time he said he first felt like a "patriot" to let McCain off his commitment to deal with the economy but "now I'm feeling like an ugly date."
A McCain spokeswoman said at the time that because of the economic crisis, the campaign "felt this wasn't a night for comedy."

In the last debate McCain said he could fix all that was wrong at the same time. For being in politics so long he seems to know very little about it. The government never works that hard or long on anything. Stupid politician.

TO CKevin Baldwin: What do you think this country would be if Bush hadn't done what he had to do? Look deeper into these "outcomes". One man cann't change problems going on. McCain tried to stop Gov. loans from doing what they did, but nobody would listen. Well, your are not listening now either. Bush or McCain didn't get our economy in the shape it's in, the banks did it. Now you people are degrading McCain because he can't fix it fast enough. It took years of what the banks did and it's going to take years to fix it. McCain/Palin for a better country.

TO: Greatoutdoors, I like to read Comments like yours, from either side. There is no foul language, you told what you feel about different issues and and the reason why. Revised for a trailor trashcomment: That f---in Obama wants to take away all your rights. You people are f---in crazy if you vote for this muslin azzhole. I just go to a different comment. My brother never uses bad language, he sad he doesn't need those kind of words to make his point. You sound just like him. Thank you for a decent comment, very refreshing ! McCain/ Palin for a great country

WOW! Anytime the McCain/Letterman story is one of the top four stories of the day is proof we no longer have a free press but a press solely owned by the corporate elite...in other words, card carrying members of the GOP!

I dont know whats concern me more,, the fact that Obama wants to remove guns for law abiding citizens(taking away our 2nd admendment rights), or the fact that Obama wants to enact the fairness doctrine (taking away our 1st admendments rights) or the fact that he has stated that Jesus' surmon on the mount is so radical..... is he talking about Blessed are the Peace Makers, or love your enemies??? and then leads you to believe that if you dont think the Gods Holy Word is radical then you dont read your bible.... oh by the way this is what is meant by seperation from church and state.... and last what about the 14th admendment, where it says that a borne citizen is entitiled to all the rights to life, liberties and happiness that everyone else have..yet he voted 3 times to deny born american babies those rights.. If he is elected why even have the constitution, if he refuses to go by it now..... either Obama Goes or the Constitution Goes..... A VOTE FOR OBAMA IS A VOTE TO DO AWAY...

why bother talking to a liberal party line hack like letterman? all you'll get is the liberal talking points and a liberal audience cheering, it's a no win situation.
