Tina Fey's husband is talking about something the "30 Rock" actress would rather not discuss: the scar on her left cheek.
In an interview in Vanity Fair, Jeff Richmond says a stranger slashed Fey's face when she was 5 years old. He says the incident occurred in the front yard of her house.
Says Richmond: "That scar was fascinating to me. This is somebody who, no matter what it was, has gone through something. And I think it really informs the way she thinks about her life."

Fey says talking about the attack would seem like exploiting it.
Says Fey: "It's really almost like I'm able to forget about it, until I was on-camera, and it became a thing of 'Oh, I guess we should use this side' or whatever. Everybody's got a better side."
In the interview, Fey also discusses her now-infamous Sarah Palin impression, and whether or not she thought it was all done properly.
On Palin's 'SNL' appearance and rap: "The people on the left were like, 'No, you can't do that!'"'"And it's like, 'We don't work for you.'"
On how her impression was publicly judged: "What made me super-mad about it was that it seemed very sexist toward me and her. The implication was that she's so fragile, which she is not. She's a strong woman. And then, also, it was sexist because, like, who would ever go on the news and say, 'Well, I thought it was sort of mean to Richard Nixon when Dan Aykroyd played him,' and 'That seemed awful mean to George Bush when Will Ferrell did it.' And it's like, 'No, that’s not the thing.' This is a comedy sketch on a comedy show. I feel clean about it all these jokes were fair hits."

I feel bad she had to go through something like that not only as a 5-year old child, but go through it at all. However, I STILL DO NOT LIKE TINA FEY - SHE IS A MEDIOCRE ACTRESS/COMEDIENNE AT BEST...

Yes, I've always noticed the scar on Tina's cheek, the scar hasn't taken away from her pure beauty; in fact it makes her sexy in my eyes.

i dont know what this dude below me has been smokin (TCIGUY) but in hollywood, make-up is a bigger part of television than acting. The reason people havent noticed the scar is because the producers of "30 Rock" and "SNL" do not want viewers to notice. it would distract from Tina Fey, so the focus doesnt becomes all about the scar, but the actor. And yea, i check her out...if i didnt want to imagine what she'd look like in a thong, she wouldnt be on TV

Don't like her, never liked her, never thought she was funny on SNL, and she's too politically oriented, like many other Hollywood idiots. And no, I'm not jealous...I'm drop dead gorgeous, have a wonderful job, and make good money, so there is nothing that I'm envious about regarding Tina Fey. She's just the "girl next door". So, don't bother with your comments, I was just passing through, and was curious about the scar!

I had the pleasure of meeting her on a cruise ship during her honeymoon in Bermuda. I thought she was pretty hot then and even more now, too cute for her hubby.

badbilly61.....WTF? How could you not know who Tina Fey is if you know who Palin is! NO ONE knew who Sarah Palin was until this election. Fey is one of the brightest writers/performers on TV. The first female to be a head writer for SNL I believe, and did the weekend news segment for years. She's written movies, shows, starred in things...do you live under a rock?! Luck won't give you the talent and creativity to write/direct/etc award winning stuff.Anyway, I noticed her scar. It's fairly evident because of how her mouth is crooked when she talks and smiles. But it's cute and quirky on her.
