(Oct. 23) - Newt Gingrich, the former House Speaker, has found a new enemy in the form of "Saturday Night Live," calling the show's occasional skewering of Gov. Sarah Palin "viciously dishonest" and "worthy of a lawsuit."

During a discussion on FOX News this week about the media's coverage of Palin, Gingrich slammed "mean-spirited" sketches on "SNL" as part of a bigger problem regarding bias. He singled out one particular skit which aired last month that was sprinkled with unsubstantiated claims about Palin's family. "Things that I think were slanderous and worthy of a lawsuit," the Georgian said.
NBC did not release the sketch in question to its various video outlets.
Gingrich made no mention of Tina Fey, who has appeared on the show four times this season to do her spot-on impression of Palin.
Palin herself may not agree with Gingrich about these charges of slander and unfair treatment. Of course, she appeared on the show last week to sky-high ratings and rave reviews from Alec Baldwin.

You cannot legally "slander" a public figure by performing satire. Gingrinch knows this but he also knows that the Republican base is incredibly stupid and won't know this fact.

WOW...it's really nice to see REAL AMERICANS show up here (McCains racist moron"base") to show their monumental ignorance!! Although Obama may pick up a couple points from increased minority registration and voting, if he were 100% white he'd be up 20 points over this beyond moronic McSame/Palin ticket. White in NH (so shove your race card) Rich And BTW, does anyone really want to drink anymore of the BS Koolaid that Gingrinch is still pedaling?? Ohh yah...Faux news, home of the lowest common denominator racist voter.

McCain left his wife after she had a horrible car accident and wasn't as pretty. He doesn't know how many homes he owns? He cheated on his first wife. Palin had an affair with her husbands best friend. She had her ex brother in law fired. She has a daughter pregnant without the benefit of marriage..........hummmmmmmmmmm.
