She doesn't have to talk. She should've let the FOOD do all the talking.I don't listen to her talking anyway, I just look at the food.I can't believe it she was abusing her vocal cord like that....I hope she doesn't smoke and I hope she stop drinking coffee. She doesn't need to work so hard now, she made it... All she needs to do is sit back and relax and just become an actress or something.

Glad to hear it's not cancer, but Rachael's constantly hoarse voice sounds an awful lot like that of admitted bulimics Joan Rivers, Blythe Danner and many, many others. I hope that isn't the case, but there's a lot of pressure to stay thin while being a spokesperson for good food!

I would think her history of Bulimia could be a culprit to a throat condition.
