(Sept. 5) - With blockbuster TV ratings for her convention speech, a clean sweep of tabloid covers, and a gaggle of TV journos clamoring to get the first crack at an actual interview with her, Sarah Palin has emerged as the nation's most talked about and sought after celeb.

Palin-Palooza on PopEater
But there's one person who doesn't want to sit down with Palin, at least until after the election: Oprah Winfrey.
After the Drudge Report claimed O staffers were pressuring their Barack Obama-supporting boss to get on board the Palin Express with a big interview, the talk-show maven quickly responded, issuing the following statement to TMZ:
"The item in today's Drudge Report is categorically untrue. There has been absolutely no discussion about having Sarah Palin on my show. At the beginning of this Presidential campaign when I decided that I was going to take my first public stance in support of a candidate, I made the decision not to use my show as a platform for any of the candidates. I agree that Sarah Palin would be a fantastic interview, and I would love to have her on after the campaign is over."
As TMZ noted in their coverage, Barack Obama has been on "Oprah" twice -- in January, 2005 and again in October, 2006 -- before he announced his run for President.

what i can't understand is how oprah gives money to planned parenthood, but planned parenthood is racist.... it targets minorities for abortions... it's founder, Margaret Sanger, wanted to get rid of black people..also, she had a show on child molestors and described the horrible things they did to children... and yet she is voting for a man who voted in favor of denying medical care to babies who survived abortions and are left in rooms for 8 eight shifts to die all alone and in extreme pain..... go figure

darla (United States), Due to his colleagues and friends, who are thoroughly interviewed along with neighbors, professors, family, etc...Obama wouldn't be able to get an entry level job with the CIA, FBI, Border Patrol, etc., for his associations with Wright, Ayers and Farakhan. They would turn him flat down!!!He should not get ANY security clearance or become Commander in Chief!!!!Hope OPRAH d'racist knows that!!

Ophra has been hurting everone for years because of her promotion of her new age religion. It doesn't matter what color your skin is, if you want to believe her lies and go to hell it is a choice. God is no respector of persons. Spending eternity in hell or heaven is a choice. Ophra's endorsement is just another of Obams's Rev. Wright, Ayers companions. Wake up, white, black, yellow, tan people. Ophara has the power and people is falling into the spiders web. If you don't believe this, just check out what she believes. WAKE UP!

Oprah has lost the last of her credibility to me. I will never again contribute money or time to one of her causes, no matter how 'heartwarming'.

Oprah is exercising common sense. She supports Obama. So why would she expose her huge, mostly white audience to another white woman who exudes traditional American values who would clobber her guy by exposing his non-traditional values such as socialism?

Where's Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson when you need them? It looks to me like the K.K.K. in black robes.

PALIN IS NOBODY SPECIAL. SHE SAID AFTER THE ELECTION. YOU WHITE WOMEN ARE SO HAPPY YOU HAVE SOMEONE YOU CAN RELATE TO RUNNING FOR OFFICE YOU WANT TO NOW REALLY AND SERIOUSLY THINK ABOUT GETTING A JOB. SHUT UP. NOBODY CARES. SHE'S NOT PUTTING ANYONE ON HER SHOW. SO NOW SHE'S A RACIST. MCCAIN IS GENIUS. THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT HE WANTED TO HAPPEN AND IT'S HAPPENING. OPRAH HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS RACE AND NOW SHE IS THE ENEMY WITH YOU WHITE WOMEN. PALIN AND MCCAIN ARE LAUGHING THEIR ASSES OFF. SO YOU DON'T WATCH ANYMORE, OR BUY HER MAGAZINE, OR READ HER BOOKS. SO WHAT. DON'T. SHE HAS ENOUGH MONEY WITHOUT YOUR SUPPORT. BELIEVE THAT.

Anyone who is strong, black and successful scares you people. If she does not want Palin on her show why should it bother you? I'm sure there's plenty of white people as yourselves who don't want Obama on there show. Stop crying Oprah is not obligated to have this women on her show. Get over it move on with your lives. White people are the ones who made Oprah who she is today one of the richest successful women in the world. And I'm sure she thanks you for that. I guess you really do think Mccain will need a little more help to win this. But you won't be getting it from Oprah, and I know that hurts your little ego's.
