I think its time for ER to pack its bags and leave TV. Its time has come and gone and it has wore out its welcome. I do hope that some of the old characters come back to the show just one more time.

It sure will be sad when ER goes off, one of the best shows on tv. Ah yes, Dr. Archibald Morris one of my favorite characters also....spinoff maybe???

It's funny to read all the Clooney bashing. Actually, he is huge at the box office, definitely an A-Lister, and can afford to maintain as many homes as he wants, including a huge Italian villa. He is not an "idiot," or "looney," but actually an accomplished businessman and actor who has made it big, very very big. I am not a Clooney fan beyond thinking his character added some bad boy pathos to the ER storylines. I don't relate to him as a movie actor, but the bashing he is getting on this forum seems kind of stupid. My personal favorite character on ER is the red headed doc who is in charge of the interns. I have liked him from the first time he showed up.

Thursday nights will never be the same when ER closes its doors. NBC will be hard pressed to get a worthy show in that time slot. I will be there to the last scene. Thanks to the great and talented cast throughout the many years.

Oh well, it's just a TV show. Who cares. ER has been fun, even compelling at times, but network TV mostly stinks anyway and there has always been quite a lot of fantasy BS "medicine" on these medical melodramas, stuff that would never happen in real life, so, go watch Trauma: Life in the ER on The Learning Channel or watch Discovery Health for some real thrills. You won't get the unrelenting sexual promiscuity and the homosexual agenda jammed down your throat on these real medical shows either.

I will miss E R, when it goes off the air, I also have watched it since day 1.... I think that Dr. Carter is my favoratie of them all, but the cast has always changed. and now they do have some new talent that is also good.

Its a shame such a great show will no longer be entertaining us on Thursday nights. They have had a good run and I hope to see the actors on others shows. The cast has always been one of the best. I sure those who have been there for so long are anxious to do other projects and ge some rest.
