(Oct. 6) - Watch your back, Tina Fey. Your doppelganger up there in Alaska is eyeing a chance to counterpunch all those barb-filled jokes in an upcoming "Saturday Night Live" appearance, sources tell the Chicago Sun-Times.

After three buzz worthy "SNL" skits that at times turned her own words into the punchline, VP hopeful Sarah Palin could appear on the late-night show in the coming weeks to turn the tables and mock her tormentor in a spoof on Fey's American Express commercials, Sun-Times columnist Bill Zwecker is reporting.
This Saturday's show is a rerun, but on Thursday NBC will air the first of its "Weekend Update" specials in prime time. The next original "SNL'' show will be broadcast Oct. 18.
Although her impression has been a big hit with pundits and viewers, Fey has expressed her desire to drop the character as soon as possible.
"I want to be done playing this lady Nov. 5," she said at last month's Emmy Awards. "So, if anybody can help me be done playing this lady Nov. 5, that would be good for me."

Tina Fey dumbed herself down just like 90% of comediens who try to be actors [generic meaning] through the back door of Hollywood. Tina Fey did not help Lindsay Lohan who made millions for her in the movie she screemplayed, Mean Girls, when she had her life in a dither. Tina is a lousey actress--she said it , I didn't, on the DVD movie Mean Girls, in the special features part with Lorne Michaels agreeing. Tina Fey like all other liberals are crybabies when the spotlight is on them and they are guilty of bad behavior--saying that they are being pesecuted and made to be demons because of their free speech that is not in accord with societal norms. Accusing conservatives and Christians of hypocrisies and being stupid, they ,Tina Fey types, can do what they want as long as it hurts society and that they can be called change agents. Tina Fey is a rich bitch -- that is all that matters to her. To hell with everybody else. She bites the hands that feed her and cannot figure out why she...

Tina Fey needs to grow a brain. She's an idiot who supports OBAMA of all people! I wish that Palin would NOT have even bothered with that show. It's a show for morons and I do NOT watch it ever! I don't believe that anyone running for office should ever appear on those types of shows. OBAMA will NEVER be my President! Voting for McCain today in early voting like most everyone I know in Florida! Dont' take stock in the polls as they NEVER turn out like the liberal media would try to make you think. They've NEVER called me or anyone else (except for one Democrat friend I know who they did call - and I rest my case).

Its Tina Fey's job to make people laugh... It's Palins job to try to look intelligent enough to run the country should anything ever happen to McCain should he become president.. You would think Palin would be more concerned with brushing up on world affairs and not so much on rehearsing lines for SNL to show what a mavericky good sport she is.. What an idiot! What was McCain THINKING when he asked her to be his running mate?!?! He must secretly really want to lose the election

Palin has to realize that every politician wants to be on SNL or get spoofed. If she wants to be taken seriously, she needs to just be quiet. Maybe, she could study up on the Supreme Court cases, since the last one was dealt with Alaska. Or, maybe she could, wth a straight face, try and convince someone that she's not a walking, breathing parody.

WOW that is the stupidest publicity stunt the McFAILen camp has come up with. Yeah thats right, go after a comedian who makes fun of her ... What happens if she does not like what a world leader says about her? Cause an international incident? Honestly give us all a break from this nonsense. If she were smart she'd avoid these lame ass attempts to show people how really petty and insignificant she really is.

SNL spoofs everyone, black or white, male or female, republican or democrat. If you don't like it, turn it off and get over it. If you think it's funny, keep watching it.
