(Oct. 10) - The presidential race has become increasingly heated. Polls show that voters are fed up with negative campaigning. Candidates are being urged to take the gloves off in their final debate. What to do to bring both sides together?
Call in Hall & Oates, of course.

SNL's H&O Tackle Decision '08 (starts around one minute in)

The Real H&O in 1980 with 'You Make My Dreams'

In a primetime special Thursday night, 'Saturday Night Live' brought out the '80s pop duo to address the tone of the campaign. Okay, it was only a hilarious simulation with Will Forte standing in for Daryl Hall and Fred Armisen and an overly-fuzzy 'stache as John Oates.
Together, the two riffed on the 1980 hit 'You Make My Dreams.' While faux Hall was firmly pro-Obama and faux-Oates was in McCain's camp, the two worked out their differences by the end of the second verse.
'Saturday Night Live' plans on airing special prime-time half-hour episodes on Thursday nights leading up to the election. Tina Fey did not appear as Sarah Palin, nor did the VP candidate herself show up, which had been the talk of TV blogs all week long. Watch More Clips From the 'Saturday Night Live' Election Special

The Trilateral Commission is intended to be the vehicle for multinational consolidation of the commercial and banking interests by seizing control of the political government of the United States. The Trilateral Commission represents a skillful, coordinated effort to seize control and consolidate the four centers of power political, monetary, intellectual and ecclesiastical. What the Trilateral Commission intends is to create a worldwide economic power superior to the political governments of the nationstates involved. As managers and creators of the system, they will rule the future
