(Sept. 30) - 'Gossip Girl' stars Chace Crawford, Penn Badgley and Ed Westwick sat down with Details to dish on their lives, characters and hopes for the future. Read Below for the Highlights
Chace Crawford, who plays Nate Archibald
What Others Perceive as His Faults: "Model turned actor, dime a dozen, eye candy, doesn't know what he's doing ... and Perez Hilton says I have 'gayface.' So on top of everything else, I have to overcome gayface."
On the Fans: "Once when we were on location on the Upper East Side, these girls came up, you know, with the Blair headbands and their skirts hiked up higher than they should be, and I said to them, 'So, are you looking at colleges?' and they said, 'No, we're in seventh grade.' I was like, 'What?! You shouldn't even be watching our show!'"
His Relationship With Roommate and Co-Star Ed Westwick: "What does "bromance" even mean?"
The Future of His Character: "I'm hoping for a fall from grace for Nate. Five years from now, I better have murdered someone!
Penn Badgley, who plays Dan Humphrey
On Twenty-Somethings Playing High School Kids: "We all look way too old. But if we looked the right ages, some of the scandalous s--- we do on the show would be too much."
His Relationship With Girlfriend and Co-Star Blake Lively: "You have to draw the line somewhere. I'm fine talking about my family and personal history, because it humanizes you. But I have to save some s--- for me."
On Himself: " I don't take anything seriously. And ... just because I'm not smiling doesn't mean I'm not happy. Chace [Crawford] is one of the most positive guys I've ever met, and you can see that in the way he walks around.I'm also like that -- but you can't see it."
On His Career: "I hope in five years I no longer look at acting as a job but as a creative passion. That's how I want to be different."
Ed Westwick, who plays Chuck Bass
His Outgoing Nature: "Put me in a bar and I'll make friends straightaway. And I'm at my most impressionable age. I need to meet new people, and soak up everything like a sponge."
Describing Chuck Bass: "Chuck's just this vain kind of metrosexual Manhattan eccentric living in a flash world. He's young, and still figuring out the way he wants the world to see him."
The Clothes: "Those costumes are my right-hand man."
Chuck's Bad Side: "It's not like Chuck is stickin' a knife to a granny's throat. He's just mischievous. In the second season, you will see him do more of the good-guy thing."

Who cares? They are just three pretty boys....doesn't mean they are gay, and if they are, so what? Guys that trash them are jealous of their looks and girls that trash them are jealous because they cannot get them.....

There's also two types of rumor male spreader or gossipers; (1) Gays and (2) straight male that want to impress females. Sadly i am neither :( so i had to make a (3) type; a male that don't care about rumors and gossips because just hearing it is detrimental to your brain cells..just think of TMZ and you'll get the pic

I remember when being gay meant happy or merry..what happened? MSsmailbox, I can relate..my girlfriend thinks im too macho and secure so she's secretly telling her friends i'm gay so they could stay far away from me and she can keep me all to herself. I laugh at her because she's wants to be closer to me than shit in the intestines but claim i'm something that would warrant her being far the **** away from me. Sorry to say, people are haters and rumor spreaders. Her personality is as lively as a dead cabbage so that's probably why as well, and mine is enigmatic and charasmatic.

Most of the fools who post here, gaydar or not, wouldn't know a gay man or a Lesbian if they tripped over one, and, ça va sans dire, their homophobia, as is 99% the case, comes from fear of being gay themselves. Who CARES who people f*** in their private lives? it doesn't make one a bit less of a man or a woman.Most of the flabby straight guys who read and write here would wet themselves for joy if anyone ever mistook them for being handsome or muscular enough to be gay.
